Web Admin CranePumps News/Events

Philanthropic involvement was an important principle to Crane’s founder R.T. Crane and the associates of Crane Pumps continue to make it a priority today.

In 2018 alone, Crane Pumps & Systems employees volunteered over 900 hours to local organizations. One of the primary organizations that Crane volunteered time with 2018 is The Bethany Center located in Piqua, Ohio. At the Bethany Center, Crane employees assisted with unloading food truck deliveries to the food pantry and assisted in the kitchen with preparing food and serving meals to visitors on a monthly basis.

Crane also donates time volunteering with the local Salvation Army. One day a week during the Summer season, employees helped the Salvation Army cook meals for local children. After the meals have been made and assembled into boxes they visit 7 local locations, mostly parks, and serve the boxed lunches to children in need in Piqua, Ohio.

Last year, Crane also volunteered with Habitat Activity Center in Troy, Ohio. Employees assisted in refurbishing the building assisting in everything from cleaning out the old space to painting walls. Crane also donated money to Elizabeth’s New Life Center in Sidney, Ohio, an organization that assists unprepared pregnant women and new mothers through all steps from beginning of pregnancy to post birth.

Crane is continuing these efforts into 2019 and has already volunteered time to The Bethany Center within the first few weeks of January.
